Supplemental song metadata: Arcade Songs · zetaraku, OTOGE DB · zvuc and the maimai Wiki on Gamerch and their contributors supply fallback BPM, chart constants and chart reference data.
Version artwork: Matsuk1 · JiETNG-maimai-dx-bot supplied the retained version-logo collection. The logos remain the property of SEGA and their respective rights holders.
Chart notation & community transcriptions: The Simai community, its notation documentation and community chart collection inform our independent parser and provide fallback chart transcriptions for analysis.
Pattern teaching references: Surone's Umiyuri tutorial and なめあ's illustrated explanation informed the scoped Umiyuri lesson. Browser demonstrations are authored illustrations; automatic chart detections remain experimental.
Song aliases & personal score service: The Tachi community song database supplies romaji and alternate-title search aliases. Kamaitachi and the Tachi contributors also provide the score service and API used by the optional downloader. Personal files are prepared separately and stay in this browser tab when opened.
mai-notes metadata, transcriptions & player: Thank you to mai-notes (maiノーツ) and its creator for the chart simulator, public song metadata and note counts. We use these to fill catalog gaps, link matching difficulties and check available transcriptions before preparing analysis. Flow and pattern results are computed by our own experimental analysis engine; matching note counts does not establish exact game fidelity.
Project foundations: arussin · maimai-session-report (originally maimai-report-starter) provided the original analyzer, recommendation engine, browser foundations and tests. Project code is MIT licensed; that license does not cover game assets or third-party datasets.
Research tools reviewed: Chσimσε · PySimaiParser, TeamMajdata · MajSimai, Minepig · MaiMuriDX and Chσimσε · MaiDiffPredictor were consulted during the source audit. Their code, models and labels are not bundled or used as this browser's analysis engine.
Building & checking the browser: Python, Node.js, Pillow, Ruff, Playwright and Deque's axe-core support local preparation, development and accessibility checks.

Privacy & analytics

Imported personal results stay in this browser for the current tab session, or on this device if you choose to remember them. They are not uploaded, added to public catalogs or included in analytics. Open Settings to hide your results or forget remembered data.

On maimai.party, optional Google Analytics uses cookies to count visits, page views and basic device and country information. It loads only after you allow analytics. We send the broad Charts, Pattern dictionary, Compare charts and About views, and may count support checkout opens, starts and confirmed returns. Imported files, player identifiers, search terms, chart selections, full URLs, referrers, payment amounts and payment identifiers are excluded from Google Analytics. Advertising personalization and Google signals are off.

Your Google Analytics choice is saved on this device for up to 180 days; Google Analytics cookies expire after 90 days. Open Settings (the gear icon), then Analytics, to change your choice. Turning analytics off removes this site's Google Analytics cookies and stops further Google collection, without clearing your results. Browser privacy signals and local previews disable Google Analytics.

Separately, maimai.party counts broad page views and feature actions without cookies or visitor/session identifiers. Only daily totals are retained, without automatic expiry. Imported data, search text, chart identities, URLs and raw errors are excluded. Google Analytics settings do not control these counts. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track disable them.

Cloudflare Web Analytics also measures traffic and page performance on the public site, separately from Google Analytics and the daily feature counts. The Google choice and the daily-count privacy controls do not control this vendor-managed beacon.

Cloudflare receives connection information to serve this website and its usage endpoint. This does not mean that all network processing is anonymous. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Google processes analytics requests, including your IP address when connecting. See Google's privacy policy and how Google uses information from partner sites. Previously collected data is not removed by changing this device's choice.

Support checkout loads a payment provider only when you choose to open it. Stripe processes its own connection, cookies and payment details. Our checkout requests exclude imported results, chart selections and searches. Stripe checkout keeps a random payment attempt and checkout reference temporarily in this tab so interrupted payments can resume; it does not create a player account. Stripe handles amount entry and payment details directly. See Stripe's privacy policy.
